Service Innovation Engineer

Join Digital Pathology on a mission to accelerate our growth in Digitizing the Pathology practice in the global health systems.

You are responsible for

• Representing service in (new) product introduction and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, to steer our organization towards Service excellence and transition to SaaS model by:

• Collect feedback and identify improvement opportunities to optimize product serviceability.

• Create and review materials, including service documentation, customer documentation, and training packages for DCP solutions.

• Execute test and validation plans as a service expert to ensure product quality and readiness for commercialization.

• Coordinate and verify service plans and activities globally with the global Service community throughout the product lifecycle.

• Define service training requirements for assigned products or programs.

• You continuously challenge the status quo and drives acceptance for new deployment and service concepts (like DevOps) in a highly regulated industry.

• Your role will be key in building a platform that meets our customers’ expectations but also supports our delivery organization in delivering state of the art deployment and service

You will be part of the Digital Pathology Service planning & Design team within Clinical Informatics service organization and you will be responsible for the design and deployment of Digital Pathology software delivery model ensuring that the delivery of our services is up to date with the latest technology and is future proof for a long-lasting service delivery with happy customers.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• A bachelor's or master degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field is a great foundation

• Minimum experience 7-10 years

• Solid understanding of the SaaS business model and its implications (ITIL4 Certified) - Mandatory

• Business mindset and skill to invent and implement new service models

• Proven track record in successfully implementing and scaling SaaS solutions.

• Experience in the medical software industry or other regulated markets.

• Expertise in modern software development methodologies, including Agile, DevOps, and cloud-native architectures

• Expertise in IT-security

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
