Job Overview

Strong existing relationships with key players in Industrial IOT sector will be highly desirable. This position requires very close communications across different teams in the region such as business development, product marketing and customer engineering team. The key roles are as below.

  • Maintain a deep and dynamic understanding of the customer’s business and technical objectives, strategies and capabilities, and ensure ongoing alignment with the Companie’s product roadmap and business objectives

  • Promote and expand Snapdragon SoC, AWARE, Modem module, and Wi-Fi/BT connectivity by developing business opportunities in Industrial IoT industries.

  • Secure design-wins across Industrial IOT sectors – Retail, Automation, Tracking and Logistics, Energy

  • Capture product / technology / commercial demand from customers, eco-system partners and distributors followed by alignment works with QCT business unit

  • Development of strategies on demand creation, new customer enabling, bringing embedded design center and achieving goal for revenue and design pipeline.

  • Establish relation with senior executive and management level of customers.

  • Ability to travel domestic and internationally for business trip

Minimum Qualifications

  • Understanding of whole IoT industry in Korea market and its trend

  • More than 7 years of working experience on IoT sales with strong ability to promote SoC / Application Processors / AI ASIC which support HLOS

  • Understanding of IoT business industry requirement, development cycle and business decision criteria

  • Relation and contact with key players in IoT customer and partners

  • Connected to the major IoT OEMs in industry and knowing the key executives and key management in IoT industries

  • Experience to develop and to nurture 3rd party eco system such as embedded design center and authorized design house

  • Regular reports and strategic planning for regional business

  • Excellent organizational and planning skill

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English & Korean

  • Team player and strongly self-motivated

  • Vision of innovation, open/flexible proposal

  • Able to execute multi-task with high agility

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred: electrical engineering)
