As an Automation Field Service Technician
You will report directly to our , and you will provide support for customers in Western New York (Syracuse/Rochester, NY area).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on building automation equipment to ensure optimal functionality
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues promptly, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and disruptions
- Provide on-site support to clients, addressing technical inquires, and offering guidance on system usage
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all service activities including installation records, maintenance reports, troubleshooting procedures, etc.
- Ensure proper use of safety and personal protection equipment
- Acquire security and other clearances as required by customer

YOU MUST HAVE - Technical and mechanical aptitude
- Experience identifying and properly using trade tools appropriately
- Ability to work independently
- Some knowledge of basic HVAC systems, sensors, or automation principals
- Ability to travel throughout the service area
- Valid Driver’s License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell
WE VALUE - 2+ years of experience within the construction or field service industry
- Technical degree or certification in relevant field (Electronics, HVAC, Electricity, etc.)
- Experience in controls, mechanical, fire and security industry.
- Experience dealing with customer satisfaction
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
