- Lead a small team of communication professionals, maintaining a supportive and collaborative atmosphere that enables everyone to do their best work
- Be a trusted and thoughtful member of the Taiwan leadership team, advising on all aspects of our external communications.
The Experience You'll Bring
- 10 years experience handling communications for a large company in Taiwan, including time spent managing a team.
- Strong media relations experience and a good network of tech, business and consumer journalists in Taiwan
- A team player: Success at Uber depends on the ability to work with different teams around shared goals.
- Communicate clearly in English and Mandarin , written and spoken
- Experience running marketing, social media and/or marketing for a large Taiwanese company
- Experience in a large consumer-facing tech company, and/or a multinational tech company
- Ability to work well with senior internal stakeholders from across the world
- Passion and curiosity about doing comms at Uber, where we get to shape the conversation around the future of mobility and delivery
