Master Scheduling Managerlocated inHenrico, VA.

Reporting to theMaster Scheduling Managerwill be based inHenrico, VAwill coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule.

What a typical day looks like:

• Develop and manage production forecast based on master plan, timelines, material needs in order to define production requirements based on plant capacity, which are aligned with company goals.
• Conducts special studies, investigations relating to the introduction of new products or processes to effect cost reduction and gives in improvements.
• In charge of the development and implementation of the company’s production control functions including Master Scheduling, Production.Planning/Coordination,Fabrication Scheduling, and Dispatching
• Develops material planning models to ensure proper material planning and optimal inventory positions for customer programs. Utilizes models for defining material planning parameters for components.
• Interfaces with Project Managers and Logistics team to ensure delivery dedications are met and with subordinates, functional peer group managers and senior management.
• Interfaces with purchasing to expedite problem parts and to reschedule material deliveries that will result in excess inventory.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team,

• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years progressive responsibility in production control and planning or related area, including supervision.
• Data analysis.
• ERP (Baan).
• Microsoft Excel (Advanced).
• Great communication skills.
• Customer focus.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
