JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Sr. Production Scheduling Manager here at Honeywell, you will beresponsible for overseeing and ensuring the success of the materials managementprocess and team. Your primary objectives will include optimizing supply chainefficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of materials tosupport our production schedules. You will use your leadership and managementskills, deep understanding of inventory management systems, and a strategicapproach to sourcing and procurement. You will report directly to our 1 and you will work out of our 2 locations on a 3-work schedule. Your strategic oversight ensures astreamlined and efficient supply chain, minimizing costs and maximizingresource utilization. Your ability to optimize inventory levels and establisheffective procurement strategies directly impacts the company's bottom line byreducing operational expenses and ensuring a constant flow of materials forproduction. Your proactive approach to materials management contributessignificantly to meeting production deadlines, enhancing overall businessresilience, and customer satisfaction. You will develop and lead projects torecover supply to improve turn time and throughput in the factory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and oversee comprehensivematerials management strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives.
  • Guide procurement activities, including vendor selection, negotiation, andcontract management.
  • Oversee inventory levels, minimizing excess or obsoletestock while ensuring an uninterrupted flow of materials to meet productionrequirements.
  • Manage the logistics and distribution processes, coordinatingwith transportation providers to optimize delivery schedules.
  • Fostereffective communication and collaboration with internal departments such asproduction, quality control, and finance.
  • Identify and lead opportunities forprocess improvement within the materials management function.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 2+ years of experience in materialsmanagement, procurement, and logistics, with a track record of success inoptimizing supply chain processes.
  • 2+ years of experience managing,motivating, and guiding a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication andnegotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in materials management software and ERPsystems.
