Description
Drive and ship large, multi-functional software development initiatives to support various productivity applicationsLead all aspects of multiple concurrent projects and features including scope, requirements, timelines, resource allocation tracking, partner management, communications, and risk assessmentsOptimize process on how features are built and implemented Ability to work on multi-functional projects with multi-functional schedules across the Apple ecosystemCollaborate with Software Engineering, Design, QA and various organizations to manage and track deliverables Understand and work on projects with multi-functional schedules, across Software Engineering and other Apple groups
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years Engineering Project Management expertise, delivering software through a full project lifecycle
- Building and managing relationships to navigate delivery dependencies
- Experience managing projects using both waterfall and Agile project management methodologies for software development
- Successful track record in cross team and cross organization collaboration
- Strong facilitation skills to drive a sophisticated, multi-functional, and comprehensive project plan
- Outstanding verbal and written communication, including presentation skills to all levels of an organization (is a must)
- Self-starter with a strong sense of personal responsibility and technical orientation
- Excellent interpersonal skills, especially the ability to filter and distill meaningful information to the right audience
- Actively tackle the technical challenges that can exist in delivering software
- Self-motivated, focused, and self-sufficient with an interest in learning
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years in the software development industry
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
