Description
This position requires an individual who: Will drive and ship large, multi-functional software development initiatives to support applications.Understands software development, qualification, build, and integration.Will be hands-on and engrossed in product details, while also being challenged to innovate and strategize on new features and building relationships to achieve results. Lead multiple concurrent projects and features, including: scope, requirements, timelines, resource allocation tracking, stakeholder management, communications, and risk assessments.Optimize processes on how features are built and executed.Ability to work on cross-functional projects with multi-functional schedules across the Apple ecosystem.Collaborate with Software Engineering, Design, QA, Build, and Integration and cross-functionally with various organizations to build, manage, and track deliverables. Understand and work on projects with multi-functional schedules across Software Engineering and other Apple groups.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of Engineering Project Management expertise, delivering software and services through a full project lifecycle.
- Experience managing projects using Agile software development.
- Enjoy technical challenges and have the ability to work with various teams, building and managing relationships to navigate delivery dependencies.
- Versatile problem solver equipped with a strong analytical approach to various challenges in complex environments. Adept at creative and critical thinking with the ability to deconstruct problems, resolve conflicts, and lead the teams to solutions.
- Self-starter with a strong sense of personal responsibility and a technical orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, especially the ability to filter and distill meaningful information to the right audience.
- You are someone who appreciates and enjoys the technical challenges that can exist in delivering software.
Preferred Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related subject area.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $293,800, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
