You’ll also:
• Research design options and document findings
• Prepare roadway plans, detail drawings and project specifications
• Review roadway plans, performing horizontal and vertical roadway alignment calculations and utility research and coordination
• Coordinate project assignments with those of other engineers and technicians in his/her discipline group
• Research design options and document findings for Project Engineers and/or Project Managers
• Assist with other duties assigned by Project Engineers and/or Project Managers
• May attend kick-off and design review meetings, and interact with clients as his or her level of experience
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• EIT certificate
• Experience in utilizing computer programming to solve engineering problems
• Ability to assemble plan set meeting client expectations
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Ideally, you’ll also have:
• 2-5 years’ experience in roadway design
• Microstation and Power Geopak experience
