In this role, you’re expected to:

The Credit Portfolio Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for credit risk management function on retail unsecured lending business, including conducting credit policy formation and reviews, portfolio monitoring and/or risk mitigation actions. The overall objective of this role is to manage Citi's credit risk strategy and management in retail lending business.

• Report to the Unsecured Lending Risk Manager to monitor and manage unsecured lending credit cycle

• Prepare regular MIS / reports for unsecured lending portfolios monitoring and for management’s awareness

• Automate/ digitalize routine MIS for better efficiency and for EUC elimination

• Prepare and present ad hoc MIS on lending business trend highlights and key initiatives

• Perform regular monitoring and validation on unsecured lending credit strategy

• Manage the testing and rule setup in credit decision system

• Manage credit risk function in acquisition, portfolio and/or collection actions, such as line assignment & management, account renewal, authorization, early warning alerts, risk mitigation etc.

• Conduct analysis to fine-tune the acquisition or portfolio management strategies in order to optimize risk & reward trade-off

• Perform control programs to ensure relevant credit processes are in compliance with regulatory and group requirements

• Participate in various business, risk, system & regional projects with close collaboration with other functions such as Product, Credit Operations, Technology, etc

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

• Bachelor or Post-graduate degree in Business, Statistics, Data Science or other related quantitative disciplines

• Minimum 4-7 years of portfolio risk management experience in Cards and Unsecured Lending Products

• Highly numerate, good communication, interpersonal skills and ability to motivate others with leadership potential

• Sound knowledge in SAS programming, data mining and MS Word / Excel / Access / Power-Point is a must

• Experienced in Tableau, TRIAD or Credit Decision Engine is an advantage
