Operations:
Knowledge of all aspects of day-to-day operations to process orders with familiarity in using SFDC and Workday Financials
Responsible for accuracy of data flowing from Salesforce to downstream systems including Workday and Metering Engine
Responsible for completion of all assigned month end activities related to Order Management and billing operations
Serve as a subject matter expert and point of contact for questions regarding deal bookings and billing-related questions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as collections, revenue, commissions and tax to troubleshoot issues and streamline processes
Resolve and track issues related to order forms and non-standard deals
Experience working with IT, Deal Desk, Billing, Legal and other cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely booking with accuracy
Provide input for on-going development and improvement on systems and operational procedures.
Collaborate in system implementation or enhancement projects and assist with UAT as needed
Participate in the development of metrics and system capabilities to better reconcile and report on global orders-related data
Coordinate and ensure ongoing compliance with SOX.
Review and update process documentation (SOPs) at regular intervalsAssist the external audit team regarding all quarterly and annual audit requirements
Prepare ad hoc analysis and reporting as required
People Management
Manage and mentor a team of analysts responsible to review order forms, purchase orders, sales related agreements including professional services in Salesforce and Workday as per companies’ terms and policies
Set / cascade annual goals to the team and articulate them to monthly / quarterly goals
Set performance standards and hold team members accountable for the deliverables
Ensure motivation levels are maintained at the highest level for efficient delivery of agreed SLAs
Coordinate with functional managers to get inputs regarding candidates performance
Hold regular individual / team meetings to give feedback on performance
Identify training needs for the individual team members based on performance evaluation
What we are looking for
Bachelor’s degree in finance or its equivalent. MBA Preferred
Track record of successful process improvements and automation
10+ years of software/ SAAS experience in deal desk, order management, billing and accounts receivable experience preferred
Demonstrate high energy with the ability to remain flexible and change priorities in a challenging and fast paced environment
Eagerness to learn and take on challenges in a rapidly growing and dynamic environment
Outstanding oral communication, analytical and written skills, with good command over English
Excellent computer skills with MS Office including MS Excel and Google Workspace Suite
Salesforce CPQ experience required, and Workday Financial experience preferred
Must be a team player and Self Starter
Ability to build teams, strong cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively
Ability to manage through change and to lead change when appropriate
Attention to detail, organized and thorough with the desire for continuous improvement
Adapts quickly to changes in a dynamic organizational structure and business processes
