About the Role

You will join the Uber Eats Regional Operations team, specifically the Merchant Operations team, and within that, you’ll be part of Merchant Growth, which aims to drive growth for our merchant partners while helping the company hit its profitability goals. You will be managing one of our key strategic priorities globally - Ads, or sponsored listings. Since launching the Ads product in EMEA, we have seen its revenue double year-on-year. We are now at a stage where we want to further optimize the existing processes to continue this growth trajectory. You will be responsible for growing and driving adoption of a rapidly growing business unit, specifically responsible for growing Ads Net Revenue, our northstar OKR.

What You Will Do

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Ads business, identifying growth opportunities to increase product adoption and upsell opportunities across our merchant base.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to measure the success of strategies and initiatives, including building and maintaining dashboards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including local markets, marketing, finance, and Product to get their support on initiatives to drive growth and track progress across the business.
  • Create new and scale existing processes across EMEA to enable the business to efficiently operate and grow.
  • Act as the Project Manager for Products and Processes led by you, creating launch and expansion plans, conducting training, aligning multiple team members, tracking issues, driving root-cause analyses, measuring marketplace performance, and supervising progress against goals.
  • Support the governance of this business line by preparing monthly reviews and presentations to keep all relevant stakeholders informed of our progress.

What You Will Need

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of proven track record in Business Operations, Management Consulting, and/or Investment Banking with a strong analytical background.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to quickly identify the key drivers of performance.
  • Experience in running detailed quantitative analysis, interpreting data, and communicating results in structured deliverables. SQL knowledge is a must.
  • Experience in communicating analysis and recommendations, structuring narratives to convey sophisticated ideas efficiently, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences.
  • Good problem-solving expertise with the potential to structure the challenges we face into concrete action plans.
  • Validated project management expertise with the potential to set up and implement processes or projects from the ground up.
  • Positive and collaborative "can-do" approach. A resourceful and innovative approach.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional working experience with an advertising, digital media, ad-tech, or mar-tech product suite.
  • Experience working with global teams and an ability to build relationships across a matrix organization.
