PDMs are responsible for developing, managing and driving partner sales with Consulting and Technology partners. They do this through4) Driving solutions, APN Program attainment, continuous enablement through training and certifications and go-to-market strategies for differentiation and expansion of their footprint
5) Acting as the owner of internal Partner Operations Management (AWS contracts, APN maintenance/troubleshooting, etc) and
6) Establishing AWS as the partner’s preferred cloud provider.As a Partner Development Manager within AWS, you will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on strategies to build mind share and broad use of AWS' services and solutions with our key strategic partners in country and region wide.Key job responsibilities- Have a broad-based understanding of cloud technologies
- Develop a group of committed partners including a plan to recruit, on-board, educate and measure their success
- Manage complex contract negotiations and serve as a liaison to the legal group
- Develop long-term strategic partnerships in support of the AWS country strategyA day in the life- Internal alignment meetings
- Training to build and maintain knowledge
