Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain effective controls to mitigate risks associated with reconciliation activities.
- Identify opportunities for process automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy in reconciliation activities.
- Collaborate with technology and RPA teams to develop and implement automated solutions.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of automated processes, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of reconciliation professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
- conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support team members in their professional growth.
- Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Contribute to the strategic planning and decision-making process for the reconciliation services function. Drive initiatives to align reconciliation services with organizational goals and objectives.
- Represent the reconciliation services team in meetings with senior management and other stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including technology teams, compliance, audit, and business units.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders to meet business needs and expectations.
Required qualification, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor's Degree with 8+ Years of Experience in a Bank/ Operations / Finance. 5+ years of Team handling experience.
- Good Communication skills - both written and verbal Good Interpersonal Skills
- Proven experience in reconciliation services or a related field, with a strong understanding of reconciliation processes and best practices.
- Experience in identifying and implementing automation opportunities, with a basic understanding of RPA and/or any other automation tool.
- Excellent people management and leadership skills, with a track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Exposure in change and transformation initiatives / mindset
- Must be open to work in evening shift.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Prior experience working in a financial services or banking environment.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Experience with reconciliation tools and software.
