This incumbent will be the subject matter expert in Interventional Cardiology fellowship training understanding the curriculums, the latest procedures, techniques, and the overall ecosystem of interventional cardiology fellowship programs, including engagement with fellowship program directors.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assess and analyze training needs and educational opportunities for Interventional Cardiology fellows aligned with BSC business priorities.
- Develops overall US strategy for IC fellows in the Interventional Solutions division, leveraging appropriate tools, technology, IT solutions, and digital learning pathways to formulate strategic learning journeys.
- Builds relationships with and creates network of IC fellows and program directors.
- Collaborates closely with Medical Education team for design, execution and support of fellows programs.
- Builds strategic partnerships/relationships with KOLs and stakeholders impacting IC fellows.
- Establish and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and engagement of educational programs. Provide regular reports to leadership, highlighting program achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with coordination of educational content and training through participation in local in-service presentations and hands-on skills training, conventions, forums, Boston Scientific hosted programs and 3rd party grant supported programs with a hands-on skills training component.
- Conduct post-program evaluations of content and faculty, remain aware of all changes that may impact training requirements, and implement changes/improvements to training protocols and materials accordingly.
- Effectively execute activities of major significance to the organization and represent Boston Scientific Medical Education as local point of contact for Fellows Education.
Required qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum 5 years in sales and/or marketing experience
- Minimum 5 years in medical device or healthcare industry experience
- Proven experience and relevant exposure around continuous innovation learning.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with physician customers and sales teams.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite; particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to develop new processes and adjust practices as needed to meet business or team needs.
- Willing to Ability travel up to 40%
- Proven ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization and physicians in the medical device space.
Preferred qualifications:
- Proven experience with fellow program management
- Previous experience with supporting systematic training in a field/lab-based setting.
- Strong project management and organizational skills; detail-oriented; methodical.
- Ability to lift and transport supplies and equipment.
