Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • An undergraduate degree or equivalent, with a preference for candidates with an MBA.

  • 10+ years of hands-on software product management experience, particularly in web and mobile applications.

  • Heavy consumer-facing experience, including building 0 to 1 products

  • Strong technical acumen with experience integrating with multiple third-party systems.

  • Proven track record of bias for action, and in developing and launching consumer products with significant daily usage.

  • Strategic and tactical thinking with the ability to manage ambiguity and drive clarity.

  • Resilience and adaptability; you see obstacles as opportunities and value feedback as a tool for growth.

Continuously refine the Wallet’s front-end experience, identifying where it falls short and prioritizing improvements that matter most to the consumers.
  • Learn Deliberately: Develop and execute learning plans to uncover customer needs, leveraging research, data, and insights. Design experiments and conduct research to validate hypotheses and improve Wallet experiences. Become a data champion for measuring adoption and engagement, building mechanisms and culture that unlock future growth.
  • Work Across Altitudes: Develop long-term vision and strategies to dramatically grow Wallet adoption and engagement globally, while also sweating the details that ensure every Wallet experience—adding a card, managing balance, receiving a payout—meets our high bar.
  • Force Multiply: Bring teams together to maximize impact. Align teams across PayPal and seek out opportunities for collaboration, enabling Wallet to connect more seamlessly with other PayPal products and services.
  • Advocate and Influence: Represent the Wallet company-wide and influence stakeholders to make priorities a reality. Communicate as effectively with an executive audience as you do with working teams.
  • Execute Effectively: Lead a scrum team to bring product plans to life, delivering impactful Wallet solutions. Institute repeatable processes that ensure continuous improvement.
  • Be Accountable: Own the success and failures of Wallet experiences, maintaining accountability for both customer and business results. Translate both ways between customer experience and business metrics to ensure alignment.
