Product Strategy & Vision:
- Identify and evaluate emerging trends, technologies, and partnership opportunities to inform product roadmap and strategy.
- Work closely with executive leadership to define and execute PayPal’s product strategy, focusing on growth, customer satisfaction, and partnership management.
- Partner with cross cutting business and product teams across PayPal/Venmo to define strategy for In-store checkout and P2P experiences in the digital wallets ecosystem.
Product Development & Execution:
- Advocate for PayPal and Venmo in determining when and how to become involved with broad, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Understand the local needs of customers and engage appropriate stakeholders to build products that cater to those needs.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, product, technology, marketing, sales, and other stakeholders to deliver products that meet consumer needs and drive business growth.
- Coordinate product development with external partners to ensure development addresses broader stakeholder needs.
- Ensure timely and successful product launches with effective go-to-market strategies.
- Develop and maintain a cohesive product roadmap that aligns with business goals and customer needs.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with external parties and global partners to manage wallet partnerships and ensure PayPal and Venmo requirements and considerations are being met.
- Build and deepen partnerships to accelerate execution and/or de-risk vision for digital wallets
- Work closely with marketing and partnerships teams to explore new opportunities for growth and innovation within the product landscape and through outside collaboration.
Financial & Business Impact:
Drive the financial performance of relevant products, focusing on revenue growth, profitability, and market share.
- Engage in discussions with wallet partners to ensure financial impacts are shared across partners and terms align with PayPal’s goals and objectives.
- Establish and track OKRs to measure the success of set initiatives, using data-driven insights to refine and improve your product strategy over time.
- Collaborate with finance and analytics teams in conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses to monitor product performance and make strategic adjustments as needed.
What you need to bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in product management
Proven track record of leadership in successful end-to-end executions of complex, multi-faceted projects involving multiple partners.
Strong understanding of fintech and digital wallet trends, technologies, regulatory environments, and customer needs.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive results across all levels of the organization and communicate technical details and concepts to non-technical audiences.
Experience with Agile methodologies and product management tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
