As an Operations and Program Manager within Business Banking Events, you will be at the heart of our event planning and execution, ensuring seamless program delivery. You will be crucial in fostering strong internal partnerships, managing financial oversight, and driving strategic program evaluation to optimize our event initiatives.
Job responsibilities:
- Cultivate and manage strong relationships with key internal partners to ensure alignment and support for event initiatives
- Oversee budgets, invoices, and business cases to ensure financial efficiency and accountability
- Negotiate and manage event-related contracts, ensuring compliance and alignment with organizational goals
- Onboard and utilize project management tools like Monday.com to track progress and manage tasks, and use shared drives and SharePoint for efficient document access and storage
- Maintain procedures and controls in partnership with Business Banking controls for compliance and efficiency
- Manage vendor relationships, including our registration site partner, Stova, and oversee website enhancements
- Oversee event assets, managing retention and retirement processes
- Provide backup and onsite support for event leads, ensuring seamless execution
- Evaluate event programs strategically to enhance staffing efficiency and optimize budget management
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 4 years of experience in project management, events strategy & execution, or experiential marketing
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently with high energy and integrity, adaptable in matrixed environments
- Strong collaborative skills, managing feedback from multiple stakeholders
- Keen attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of quality
- Proficient in Monday.com, Microsoft Office applications, and SharePoint
- Experience in budget management, financial oversight, and vendor relationship management
- Willingness to travel within the U.S. for onsite event support, with a minimum of 25 travel days
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Degree in communications, hospitality, marketing, business, or a related field
- Understanding of the financial services industry.
