Senior Strategy Consultant, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY: Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to understand and prioritize their pain points in managing and improving the company’s business performance. Perform market research to understand the best practices, state-of-the-art processes/technologies, and industry-standard metrics and approaches to measure and analyze each of the business problem areas. Create data visualizations to help understand and describe the current business processes. Apply in-depth business acumen to address business challenges by formulating and testing hypotheses to determine solutions that drive maximum business impact. Create both qualitative and quantitative rapid analytics and give recommendations to solve business problems and create consulting project deliverables with the ultimate goal of improving business performance. Understand machine learning and natural language processing capabilities and work with data scientists and developers in the team to build scalable solutions and engage in both productionizing and deploying the technical solutions within company. Develop automation processes and create and maintain internal assets to improve business performance and sustain the improvements associated with the solution. Present the analytical results and recommendations to the stakeholders. Utilize: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Tableau, Trello, Mural, JIRA, Query Management Facility (QMF), and IBM Cognos Analytics. Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration or related (employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Strategy Consultant or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Tableau, Trello, Mural, JIRA, Query Management Facility (QMF), and IBM Cognos Analytics. $225,039.96 per year .
