Cost Analysis: Analyze operational expenses, services, and financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings. Develop dashboards and visualizations to present data in a clear and actionable manner
- Cost Reporting: Maintain and enhance cost management tools/reports to effectively communicate project cost metrics and identify risks. Provide actionable insights to project teams and senior management, facilitating data-driven decision-making
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop OPEX quarterly forecasts in collaboration with OPEX leaders and finance to ensure budgets align with the company’s financial goals and strategic objectives
- Cost Control Management: Monitor actual expenditures against approved budgets and forecasts for OPEX projects, review/approve purchase orders and invoices, and identify areas of improvement and implement corrective measures
- Onboarding and Training: Develop roadmap to onboard new OPEX programs into our project management application to track project expenditures. Conduct training and create training to support end users on cost management practices and tools
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and identify different opportunities to improve our processes through data analysis and feedback from stakeholders
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure cohesive cost control efforts and alignment with leaders
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cost control management, and process improvement initiatives
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, and other project management software
- Quick learner and adaptable, can pivot when needed to
- Understanding of OPEX services and expenditures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present financial data and insights to project teams and senior management
