As an Advanced Test Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through effective test engineering practices. You will guide and coordinate the testing activities for assigned projects, working closely with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and specifications. Your expertise in test methodologies and tools will be instrumental in developing and executing test plans and procedures.You will report directly to our Test Engineering Manager, and you will work out of our Torrance, CA location. This role is eligible for hybrid work mode, except for the first 90 days.

In this role, you will impact the quality and reliability of our products, contributing to the overall enhancement of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide and coordinate the testing activities for assigned projects
  • Develop and execute test plans and procedures
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and specifications
  • Analyze test results and provide recommendations for product improvements
  • Provide technical guidance and facilitate test engineers

The annual base salary range for this position is $111,300 - $136,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in test engineering
  • Strong knowledge of test methodologies and tools
  • Experience in guiding and coordinating testing activities
  • Excellent problem-solving and thoughtful skills
  • Effective communication and people-oriented skills
