A key role, the Marketing Director will report directly to the GM and be a board member.

Marketing Director will be responsible from leading development of marketing strategies, development and monitoring of annual marketing plans, leading the portfolio for long term, preparing and proposing short & mid & long-term strategy planning to achieve corporate goals.

How you’ll spend your day
  • Lead development of marketing strategies (in line with global strategies) and develop product activation to increase sell-out and gain market share, while ensuring correct execution and alignment with the sales and trade teams. Provide innovative solutions to deliver the product strategy while ensuring all marketing activities are compliant to local regulations.
  • Lead development and monitoring of annual marketing plans and propose annual and long-term planning in order to achieve corporate goals.
  • Ensure preparation of yearly and monthly SKU forecasting, works closely with supply team to ensure the supply and with sales and trade team for continuous alignment and forecast accuracy.
  • Plan necessary investment decisions for marketing activation to drive sales and market share growth to ensure division net sales and contribution targets. Responsible for all promo portfolio P&L and P&L by product.
  • Develop portfolio strategy in cooperation with global team, to optimize return on investments in the assigned business areas.
  • Anticipate competitors’ activities through the analysis of Competitors’ products and companies, portfolio mapping, identification of opportunities and risks and economic assessment of alternatives.
  • Define medium- and long-term plans, (incl. new products, new concept, new communication approach) based on global and local plans. Provide and prepare the business plans and launch plans.
  • Agree, supervise and co-ordinate the activity plans with other functions in order to ensure the alignment with the brand and company strategy and achieve the goals defined (Sales, Trade, Logistic, BD, Advertising agencies, Medical, Market Access & Regulatory).
  • Lead, build and maintain a network of KOLs in order to identify potential business opportunities and protect the company’s interest in order to support delivery of marketing objectives, supervise the organization of national and international congresses, symposia and round-table meetings to support product strategy and positioning in coordination with the Medical team.
  • Manage and keep optimal relations with Global Strategic Marketing in order to develop understanding of global product strategies to ensure right local activation, learn from success stories from other markets and align on local strategic plans & activities to build the brand(s).
  • Participate actively in global projects (upon availability) to gain global experience on various topics (i.e. Customer excellence) and build global network.
  • Drive teamwork and team development, spotting talents, ensure motivation and harmonize teamwork to increase the performance.
  • Provide coaching, constructive feedback, supervising and developing his/her direct reports
  • Develop and/or adjust local processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Your experience and qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in leading marketing teams and pharmaceutical industry
  • High motivation & coaching & leading capabilities
  • Strong analytical skills partnered with a creative mind
  • Outstanding communication, and influencing skills
  • Ability to work in complex and dynamic environment, cooperating with many diverse teams and markets
