Key job responsibilities
Zappos Marketplace BIE responsibilities Include:* Analyze and solve business problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context.
* Develop and drive critical metrics to monitor and optimize the business. Generate flexible models for KPI definition and tracking to support Zappos strategic initiatives* Enable efficient decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.
* Manage and refine key business processes, making recommendations for automation where needed and working with relevant teams on prioritization.
* Develop concise, insightful reporting on the key drivers of our business and facilitate team reviews weekly, monthly, and quarterly.* Assist with major projects through data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendations.* Partner with key stakeholders from Product Management and Technology to prioritize roadmap decisions.

- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
- Bachelors Degree
