What you'll do...
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of security engineers dedicated to endpoint protection.
- Provide strategic vision and direction for endpoint security initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate endpoint security measures into system architectures and business processes.
- Endpoint Security Operations:
- Oversee the deployment, management, and optimization of endpoint protection solutions.
- Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and standards for endpoint security.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
- Threat Detection and Response:
- Manage and assist on the response to endpoint security incidents, ensuring effective containment and resolution.
- Implement advanced threat detection mechanisms to proactively identify and mitigate security risks.
- Coordinate with internal and external teams during security incidents, providing expert guidance and support.
- Technology and Innovation:
- Stay updated on emerging threats, technologies, and best practices in endpoint security.
- Evaluate and recommend new security tools and technologies to enhance endpoint protection.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the endpoint security engineering function.
- Define a roadmap for better visibility and telemetry from a security operations and stability perspective.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Communicate endpoint security issues and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver training and awareness programs on endpoint security best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.) is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT security, with at least 5 years in a managerial role focusing on endpoint protection.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale endpoint security implementations.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, etc.).
- Experience with endpoint security tools and technologies, such as EDR, antivirus, anti-malware, and vulnerability management systems.
- Have a solid technical understanding of various operating system and system internals for Windows, OSX, Unix variants.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during high-stress situations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: - Stock
