Role Overview:
operate over 15k Apache Flink jobs, processing over 60 PB of data per day, and continuously innovating to enable this scale in a cost-efficient manner.
You will be responsible for:
Leading, mentoring, and growing a team of talented and diverse engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Defining and driving the technical vision and roadmap for Data Movement Processing Engines, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
Overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering projects, ensuring high quality and timely completion.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and other engineering teams, to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Staying abreast of the latest trends and advancements in data processing technologies, and driving the adoption of new tools and methodologies to enhance our platform.
Ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of the Flink and Mantis Processing Engines by implementing best practices for monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
What we are looking for:
A leader with at least 5 years of experience managing business-critical high-performance teams of Software Engineers of various levels of experience.
Deep understanding of and experience with real-time data processing technologies, particularly Apache Flink, and experience with large-scale distributed systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
Strong track record of delivering impactful results.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

To determine your personal top-of-market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $190,000 - $920,000.
