Key Qualifications
  • Leading expert in applying electrochemical principles and methods for battery R&D with a focus on generating electrochemical data and insights to drive purposeful innovations of battery materials for next generation cell chemistries; materials include cathode/anode active materials, electrolyte, binder, conductive agent, etc.
  • Proven track record of conceiving and developing novel materials at industrial level driven by electrochemical and cell chemistry expertise
  • Ability to develop and employ electrochemical testing methodologies per application specific requirements; ability to connect the dots between materials, properties, electrochemical data, and analytical data to guide development direction
  • In-depth understanding of electrochemistry principles and their implications in battery cell and material performance
  • Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and problem solving
  • Experience with data acquisition systems and automation software
  • Team oriented; ability to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams and external partners
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey technical data and results and communicate effectively
Education & Experience
BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field with relevant industry experience preferred.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $160,700.00 and $282,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
