Provide technical leadership and engineering services for electrical systems during the early design and construction phase. Provide technical support for client to evaluate all codes local and international and identify any deficiencies in submittals. Provide field engineering services for electrical systems during the construction services phase of the project. Attend client meetings and represent electrical group at meetings. Interpret and convey information from studies performed on electrical systems to trades, owner, and general contractor. Provide technical support and guidance on detailed design documents and scope clarification for General contractor. Perform field walks and prepare reports based off field observations. Provide design direction and implementation during the early design and construction phase of the project. Provide direction to enable construction management to make design alterations as required based on construction needs and construction methods.

REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or closely related field and 3 years of work experience in job offered or related occupation.
In Lieu of the requirements listed above, employer will accept: Master degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or closely related field and 1 year of work experience in job offered or related occupation.
SPECIFIC SKILLS: Expertise with Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, and Navisworks software applications. Expertise with relevant industry electrical codes and established best practices, including a comprehensive understanding of the national electrical code (NEC) and NFPA regulations. Expertise with the design of medium and low-voltage power systems, backed by practical experience. Expertise with the performance of in-depth power distribution system analyses and precise calculations using industry-standard software platforms such as Easy Power, Agi32, AmpCalc.
