Key job responsibilities
- Conduct 8D Quality Investigations and use the output to improve processes
- Create and conduct quality process audits
- Develop and maintain PFMEA and control plans throughout the life cycle of a process. Use PFMEA to identify potential failures, their effects, and implement preventive actions.
- Own disposition of defective equipment by developing metrics and maintain a quarantine cage. Drive the resolution of issues identified.
- Manage the process/product quality audit program. Document audit findings and ensure proper corrective actions are taken.
- Manage change management requests and obtain approvals from appropriate stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary quality contact on the production floor. Communicate relevant quality-related details at the start and end of each shift.
- Assist in and facilitate process improvement initiatives, providing subject matter expertise and support.
- Assist in the roll-out of new processes and equipment by performing quality inspections and trial runs.
- Own and develop standard policies and procedures for processes within operations. Ensure SOPs are up-to-date and followed consistently.

- 2+ years experience in operations/ manufacturing industry
- 2+ years experience developing and driving strategic initiatives within a cross-functional environment
- 2+ years experience using Quality Management System as well as managing Quality Audit Programs.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing and Quality Management Systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
