Responsible for managing, implementing, maintaining and supporting computer infrastructure and communication networks within or between organizations to ensure secured system, maximum performance and availability.

• Proven track record of installing, configuring, administration and troubleshooting UNIX-based systems.
• Familiarity with hardware virtualization
• Familiarity with networking technologies (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).
• Familiarity with performance tuning and system monitoring.
• Familiarity with SAN (Storage Area Networks)
• Experience creating scripts (e.g. using Perl, Python) and setting up software for automation.
• Protocol knowledge (TCP, SCTP, Diameter, SS7, HTTPS) with integration capabilities.
• Troubleshoot data networks and infrastructure complex problems and outages across a broad range of technologies
• Maximize networks, infrastructure performance and tuning performance parameters by analyzing monitoring and trend analysis reports

• Any of the platform certifications - RHEL, HP CSA, SCSA, MCP, MCSE, MCITP, MCSA
• Any of virtual certifications - VCP, Citrix
• B.A./B.Sc. In Computer Science / Electronics / IT
• 7-8 years of domain experience
• Experience in the use of management, reporting and automation tools
• UNIX Administration :
  • Sound knowledge of administering at least one Unix platform ( LINUX, AIX, Solaris, HP-UX) - at least 6 years of experience
  • Knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies - at least 4 years of experience
  • Knowledge of hardware administration ( Physical servers , Enclosures) - at least 5 years of experience
  • Basic knowledge of storage and networking - at least 4 years of experience
• Windows Administration :
  • Sound Knowledge of administering Windows Server Operating systems - At least 6 years of experience
  • Knowledge of at least one of the Virtualization technologies ( VMware / Citrix) - at least 4 years of experience
  • Knowledge of such Windows Infrastructure services as Active Domain, LYNC, DNS, DHCP - at least 6 years of experience
