1st shift (United States of America)Responsible for an assigned portfolio of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) loans that require monitoring, administration, and servicing through the construction, development and/or stabilization phase(s). Administer a portfolio of varying types of construction loans of high complexity.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

1. Perform high complexity activities including all CLSIII responsibilities in addition to more complex budget analysis, draw package processing, and acceptance of third party vendor reports.

2. Primary account responsibilities for an assigned portfolio of high complexity consisting primarily of commercial construction loans as well as builder lines/borrowing bases and Acquisition & Development (A&D) loans, as assigned. Includes duties for construction facilities across multiple lines of business (LOB), which may include Sports and Entertainment, structured Real Estate, and higher profile clients.

3. Includes direct contact with customers, Relationship Mangers, Credit Officers, contractors, inspectors, Real Estate Valuation Officers, and legal counsel.

4. Assigned operational and decision making authority to review and approve loan funding requests commensurate with the risk and complexity of the portfolio assigned. Reviews internal or construction-specific project and/or draw documents for compliance to Policy, Procedure, and any existing approval requirements. 5. Reviews complex construction budgets provided by the customer, General Contractor, and others to ensure they are complete, accurate, and meet bank standards.

6. Updates the Construction Administration system of record with ongoing changes and file maintenance. Administers any internal or external construction administration servicing fees, as assigned.

7. Participates in the coaching of junior Construction Specialists in construction administration activities.

8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

1. High school graduate and/or higher level credits in Business and Accounting or equivalent education and related training.

2. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

3. Comprehensive analytical and mathematical skills with a basic understanding of accounting principles.

4. Ability to communicate with clients, both internal and external, tactfully and professionally.

5. 10+ years' related banking and/or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. AS or BA degree in a related field.

2. Previous experience with construction documentation or budgets.

3. Demonstrated leadership or managerial qualities.

4. Previous experience as a Construction Loan Specialist III.
