As a DevOps Engineer Intern, a Typical Day Might Include the Following:

• Helping define and develop continuous integration and deployment pipelines
• Learning to build “Infrastructure as Code”
• Assisting in coordinating build and release activities with other stakeholders
• Working with team members to develop application and performance metrics
• Updating, writing and managing JIRA stories throughout the software development life cycle
• Helping troubleshoot and respond to environment downtime and performance degradation

To Land This Gig You'll Need:

• Completion of upper-level courses in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent work experience or training
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• You are a problem solver, a fixer, and a creative technologist
• Ability to learn independently and from others
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with team members and peers abroad
• Programming or scripting experience (Java, Gradle, Python, Shell, Bash)

Bonus Experience:

• Experience with Docker, AWS/Azure/Google Cloud
• Experience with Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/Google Cloud
• Experience with source control systems, build tools and frameworks (svn, bitbucket, gradle, cmake, jenkins)
• Experience with security protocols and standards
