Launch innovations in nearly every commercial and defense aircraft platform In this role, you will be the Systems Project Engineer, Cost Account Manager (CAM), and lead for the Reliability, Maintainability, and System Safety (RMSS) workstream on a new centerline turbofan engine program. In the role, you will own budget, risk, cost, schedule, and execution of the RMSS Agile workstream. You will ensure the work performed by the subject matter experts within RMSS is in accordance with the program plans and to the program schedule.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the RMSS workpackages as CAM in charge of cost, budget, schedule, and risk management
- Ensure all RMSS work is aligned to the program planning documents (e.g., System Development Plan, Requirements Management Validation and Verification Plan, ARP4754, ARP4761)
- Organizing work within the RMSS team and in accordance with Agile planning principles.
- Escalating properly when necessary
- Communicating status and risks clearly and appropriately
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Due to US export control laws, must be a US Person
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Systems, Aerospace, or Mechanical preferred)
- Minimum 5 years related engineering experience in the design, development, manufacture, and/or test of gas turbine engines.
