As a Software Development Engineer, your responsibilities range from reviewing product requirements and designing the software architecture that fulfills them, to translating the requirements to engineering tasks and implementing them. Together with frontend engineers you will be responsible for delivering production-ready code that will be used by hundreds of millions of Amazon customers. Together with the frontend engineers, the UX designers and the product team, you will own end-to-end the customer experience of Amazon Deals. As a software development engineer on the Promotions CX team, you will have a huge impact on the way customers, including friends and family, experience Amazon daily.Key job responsibilities

- Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
