Be the front-line seller who drives sales, identifying and generating opportunities for different kinds of customers. You will foster client satisfaction by maintaining regular customer contact and managing customer expectations. You will develop customer relationships through coordinating and/or attending trade shows, seminar, and similar events. You will provide education of Honeywell product through technical presentations. You will maintain and provide reports and opportunity status using our customer relationship management system. You will provide competitive intelligence and market trends. You will provide forecast/demand input to Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP).
Deliver value by forging new strategic relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Account manager is responsible for developing Smart Energy Water business. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
• To be able to develop Smart Energy Water metering business including Connected Solutions
• Searching for new customers & partners and developing long-term relationships with customers through managing and meeting their requirements,
• Analyzing costs and sales, calculating customer & partner quotations, controlling and managing customer(partner) accounts
• Prepare sales & market plan focused on the expansion of our customer base short- and long-term plans)
• Searching for new customers and travelling to visit potential customers.
• Establishing new, and maintaining existing, long-term relationships with customers.
• Negotiating tender and contract terms.
• Co-operate with other divisions of Honeywell in order to generate new business opportunities.
2. Monitor customer/partner/ market needs
• Monitor competitors' activity and co-ordinate counter actions
•Monitor customer / market needs and continuously compare positions of our prices, products, services and inform your supervisor for new strategies.
• Identify new market opportunities and inform your division manager.
• Identify and convince all decision-makers and inform your division manager to take necessary actions if needed.
• Use Honeywell International capabilities to bring experience and credibility.
• Attending/participating in marketing events as required to support the business and strengthen company’s marketing activities
3. Technical support
• Give application and start-up supports to customers / channel partners
• Give technical support to customers / distributors like training, seminar etc. in a joint effort with product marketing.
YOU MUST HAVE · A proficient understanding of key sales principles and best practices
· Excellent team and communication skills
· An ability to take initiative and work with limited direction.
· An ability to influence across a broader organization.
· An ability to influence customers, while maintaining healthy relationships
· Significant experience in selling (industrial) products
· Deep technical expertise
· Understanding of the Honeywell value proposition as well as the competitive landscape
