A fantastic opportunity has arisen with an immediate requirement within our existing engineering department for a. Our Engineers support internal and external manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement and innovation.
In this role, you will be an integral part of the team that manages all thethrough our outsourced provider.
Bring energy, knowledge, innovation, and leadership to carry out the following:
- Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for various GMP and non-GMP Facility systems ensuring compliance with internal Standards and Regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration with other departments and our out-sourced partners to ensure the successful delivery of the Facilities and Soft Services function to site.
- Maintain Facilities and Soft Services systems in the context of retaining a permanent inspection readiness state for the site.
- Support Engineering safety programs to ensure compliance withLegislative/Regulatoryrequirements and with Corporate Standards.
- Preparation, analysis, and presentation of Facilities metrics.
- Identification of trends or anomalies for the purpose of identifying task/efficiency improvement opportunities.
- Support investigations into deviations and out of tolerance events using various techniques such as FMEA, RCA, 8 Step Problem Solving etc.
- Support the implementation of investigation resolution actions, CAPAs etc.
- Identify and support the implementation of financial saving opportunities and participate in the development of budgets.
- Resolve issues and escalate risks in a timely manner to relevant onsite stakeholders.
- Development of new and review and update of existing SOPs.
- Support the implementation of the site Reliability Engineering program.
In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:
- Bachelor’s Degree at Level 8 (or higher) preferred in an Engineering or other technical discipline.
- 3 plus years relevant work experience within an Engineering or Maintenance department in a regulated industry (GMP experience preferred).
- Ability to work on own initiative with minimal direction while working closely with the wider Engineering team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Openness to accept and the ability to effect change.
- Ability to assess business needs and address issues in a structured manner within the context of compliance, safety, and cost considerations.
- A demonstrated ability to focus on an issue to find the important details.
- Strong evidence of Environmental, Health, Safety and Sustainability focus.
- Experience identifying performance improvement opportunities and participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to work on diverse tasks in a dynamic work environment.
- Experience working on projects with responsibility for delivery.
- Excellent computer skills with strong data analysis and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to develop clear and concise reports.
- Well-developed decision making and prioritisation skills.
- A positive, flexible, and action-oriented attitude.
