As an Advanced Software Engineer here at Honeywell, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge software applications and solutions. As a mid-level individual contributor, you will collaborate with peers to drive best practices in software engineering and ensure the successful implementation of software projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain advanced software applications and solutions
• Work with cross-functional teams to analyze and comprehend complex customer requirements
• Develop scalable and efficient software solutions that meet customer needs
• Develop and maintain test software for our next-generation Resilient Embedded GPS/Inertial Navigation System (EGI)
• Test, debug, and optimize software applications for high performance and reliability
• Document software designs, specifications, and user manuals
• Collaborate with peers and contribute to best practices in software development

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.

• 6+ years of experience in software development using programming languages such as C, C++, C#, or Python
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience in designing and implementing software solutions for complex systems
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering, or a related field
• Experience writing test control software
• Knowledge of product testing, debugging techniques, and performance optimization
• Prior aerospace experience
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies
• Familiarity with software development tools, environments, and best practices
• Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skillsAdditional Information
