Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
4 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
Managing high-volume manufacturing processes and preparing the cross-functional teams for qualification builds to enable mass production of complex electronics/Electro-mechanical modules and systems.
Creating program schedules and convergence timelines to keep the cross-functional teams on track, including when tooling, raw materials and parts production needs to be kicked off for qualifying changes to complex Electronics/Electro-mechanical products.
Negotiating validation and testing requirements with cross-functional engineering teams including product design, Electrical Engineering, Reliability engineering and module engineering teams & drive teams towards timely completion of qualifications.
Leading cross-functional and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) teams to resolve engineering issues determined from mass production and field returns.
Working with Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Software teams to identify risks, explore solutions, reach consensus, and execute mitigations as quickly and efficiently for field issues or other qualifications.
Identifying, prioritizing, and assessing the risks of engineering and quality improvements and qualifications through collaboration with multi-functional teams.
Identifying, evaluating, and driving the various activities while clearly communicating the risks, priorities and schedules to the management team.
Leading the activities necessary for qualification of system components/modules that increase supply, reduce costs, improve quality, and improve yield for various electronics/Electro-mechanical products.
