Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Services Engineers, ensuring they are motivated, trained, and equipped to meet deployment goals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development.
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of deployment projects to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success, Sales, and Product teams to develop detailed deployment plans tailored to client requirements.
  • Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure the technical accuracy and quality of deployments, including system configuration, integration, and customization.
  • Provide high-level technical support and guidance to the deployment team during complex deployments and issue resolution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated deployment issues and ensure prompt and effective resolution.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring deployments align with their business objectives.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to review deployment progress and address any concerns.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize deployment processes, methodologies, and best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Continuously evaluate and refine deployment tools and technologies to improve team performance.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from clients and internal teams to drive process improvements.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of deployment processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Develop and maintain deployment guides, user manuals, and training materials.
  • Generate regular reports on deployment progress, team performance, and project outcomes for senior management.
  • Ensure all deployments adhere to industry standards, compliance requirements, and security best practices.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure the integrity and security of deployed systems.
  • Provide training and onboarding for new Services Engineers.
  • Ensure ongoing training and certification for the team to stay current with industry trends and technologies.
  • Manage the deployment budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Negotiate with vendors and partners to procure necessary tools and equipment.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans for deployment initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for expanding deployment services and capabilities.
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role within a deployment or technical support team.
  • 5+ years experience as a full-time Services Engineer highly preferred or as a Professional Services Engineer, Consultant, or IT/Operations Engineering
  • Strong technical background in deploying and managing complex systems and infrastructures.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • 3+ years experience working in Security/IT/Healthcare/ICT/Commercial sectors
  • Experience analyzing, using, and configuring medium to enterprise networks.
  • Ability to work effectively in an interrupt-driven environment and provide mentorship to individual contributors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple deployment projects simultaneously.
  • Coverage of U.S. Time Zones is preferred
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed (up to 60%)
Technical Skills
  • B.S in IT, IS, CS, MIS, (or equivalent degree) and/or relevant industry qualifications (CISSP, Security +,CEH) desired
  • Familiarity/Experience in Cyber Security i.e Endpoint, SOAR, SIEM
  • Linux Operating System basic operation and troubleshooting (i.e. Redhat Linux / CentOS)
  • Networking (LAN/WAN, Routing/Switching protocols, Network Security)
