You will be responsible for performing top edits on all team content, including news stories, analyses, features and email newsletter copy, ensuring clarity, accuracy and alignment with IBM Think’s voice and editorial standards. This role requires a sharp editorial eye to refine content for tone, flow and impact, as well as exceptional skills in crafting compelling headlines that resonate with target audiences.
You will also collaborate with teams outside of the editorial organization on email production, so expertise in email content and marketing is essential, including understanding best practices in subject lines and maximizing engagement. Familiarity with content management tools such as Adobe Experience Manager and email platforms like Marketo is also essential.
- Solid professional experience in publishing, preferably in digital media, content marketing or journalism;
- Proven ability to top-edit a variety of content types, including news stories, analyses, features and email newsletters, for tone, clarity and accuracy;
- Strong track record of crafting compelling, audience-driven headlines and refining content for digital platforms;
- Exceptional command of grammar, style and tone, with a deep understanding of audience engagement strategies;
- Familiarity with the principles of SEO and experience editing for search-optimized content;
- Experience with content management systems (especially Adobe Experience Manager).
- A background in managing or mentoring writers is a plus.
