This role in particular will be responsible for leading the implementation of the physical layer design on reference and test platforms.This role will also play a critical role in the design, development and verification of various L1 concepts for Kuiper commercial as well as test HW.Export Control Requirement:
Key job responsibilities
Develop FPGA solution for L1 (PHY) implementation for Kuiper Communication System and Various Testbed PrototypesDesign and develop the embedded software architecture that controls the Physical Layer (L1) Modem across multiple nodes within the Kuiper networkDevelop embedded/DSP solutions for PHY FW/SW.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent experience10+ years professional experience working in mission critical software embedded systems.Emphasis or work experience in broadband wireless or wireline communication embedded systems.Experience in HW/SW co-design to achieve power/area efficient solutions to be integrated into heterogeneous/distributed computing architectures consisting of SoCs, FPGAs and general-purpose processors.Understating of modem L1/L2 algorithms and architectures.Broad spectrum of knowledge to be able to understand end-to-end network system architecture from wireless physical layer all the way up to application end-point.Experience with software defined radios (SDRs) and embedded programming in C/C++ and VHDL/Verilog is a plus.FPGA code development for L1 control and data paths for modems
Experience with current software development processes and tools including Agile, TDD, BDD, CI, Git.Experience with leading technical initiatives and key deliverables.
