The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Personal Safety Division Lead Development / Inside Sales Representative you will significantly enhance the effectiveness of the business marketing and sales efforts, leading to increased lead generation, improved lead quality and accelerate the closed won opportunities cycle.

  • Increased Lead Generation: LDRs focus on identifying and qualifying potential leads, which can significantly increase the number of leads entering the sales pipeline.
  • Improved Lead Quality: By thoroughly qualifying leads, LDRs ensure that only high-quality leads are passed on to the sales team, improving the chances of conversion.
  • Enhanced Sales Efficiency: LDRs will handle the initial stages of lead qualification and then will convert leads into sales opportunities, will close deals, thereby increasing overall sales efficiency.
  • Better Customer Insights: LDRs gather valuable information about potential customers, which can be used to tailor marketing and sales strategies to better meet customer needs.
  • Shortened Sales Cycle: By pre-qualifying leads and ensuring they are ready for the next stage, LDRs can help shorten the overall sales cycle.
  • Improved Customer Experience: LDRs can provide a more personalized and attentive experience to potential customers, improving their overall experience with the company.
  • Market Intelligence: LDRs can gather and report on market trends and customer feedback, providing valuable insights for strategic planning.
  • CHURN: Reducing Churn, recover lost sales with customers identified through the churn process and find penetration opportunities.
  • CIO: Work with Channel Category Manager to accelerate opportunities coming from Distributors and improve sales cycle time and improve relationships with priority business partners.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

  • Two (2) Years relevant sales experiencein a private, public, government or military environment

  • Two (2) Years Customer Service experiencein a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

  • CRM Platform experience: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)

  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing work environment

  • Strong organization skills, with the ability to stay on tasks and maintain high productivity levels while working in the office

  • Product Application experience

  • English / Canadian French speaker preferred.
