In EY's sustainability team, we continuously work with a wide range of exciting projects and initiatives to help our clients respond to issues across the sustainability agenda. Topics include:

• Executing sustainability assurance of sustainability statements
• Conducting double materiality assessment reviews
• Developing or improving companies’ external sustainability reporting
• Assisting with implementation of new legislation, e.g. the EU Taxonomy, CSRD, NFRD etc.
• Conducting ESG due diligence in relation to acquisitions and sales of companies
• Assurance of human rights, labour rights and environmental due diligence procedures
• Review of Decarbonisation including Setting Science Based Targets and TCFD recommendations
• Review of climate scenario analyses

Key responsibilities

• Audit team member of sustainability assurance engagements
• Ensure deliveries of high quality
• Contribute to further development of EY’s sustainability department in Aarhus

We are looking for someone who has a good general understanding of audits and is interested in shifting focus to sustainability audits. You can expect plenty of autonomy in this role, so you’ll also need the ability to take initiative and seek out opportunities to improve our current relationships and processes.

Above all, we value working with people who are driven, curious, skilled, proactive and pleasant to work with. Additionally, we imagine you’ll bring to the table:

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with audits
• Excellent written and verbal communication (preferably in both Danish and English)

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, who enjoys building relations
• Experience with participation in a range of engagements simultaneously
• Experience working in a team-based environment
• Solid sense of detail and delivering quality results
