Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 18 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Narrative & Positioning

  • Own the PayPal World messaging framework, including narratives for merchants, consumers, platforms, and partners.
  • Create a unified story that articulates how PayPal World enables scalable, seamless, experiences for consumers across merchant and partner experiences.
  • Translate complex platform features into market-facing value propositions that resonate globally.

Go-to-Market Leadership

  • Drive end-to-end GTM strategy for PayPal World product launches, new surfaces, and cross-platform innovations.
  • Deliver a cohesive GTM experience by integrating narrative, enablement, and execution across multiple functions and audiences.
  • Partner with regional teams to tailor GTM activation to market-specific needs and priorities.
  • Align internal stakeholders (Product, Field, BD, Ops) on PayPal World launch plans, objectives, and performance metrics.

Ecosystem & Partner Co-Marketing

  • Build and scale joint marketing programs with merchants, platforms, and technology partners to amplify PayPal World’s reach and impact.
  • Ensure PayPal World is embedded into strategic partner roadmaps, presentations, and joint campaigns.
  • Create enablement materials, co-branded assets, and playbooks that make PayPal World easy to present, position, and promote externally.

Integrated Campaigns & Commercial Activation

  • Lead the development of global, full-funnel campaigns to drive:
  • Scaled consumer adoption and repeat usage
  • Merchant awareness and presentment of PayPal World experiences at checkout and beyond
  • Partner and merchant co-marketing activation aligned to PayPal World feature sets and surfaces
  • Build repeatable campaign frameworks that can scale across geographies, channels, and partner tiers.
  • Collaborate with Performance, Lifecycle, and Field Marketing to activate PayPal World campaigns through digital, in-product, CRM, and live channels.
  • Maintain narrative and visual consistency across all touchpoints to reinforce PayPal World as a unified platform experience.

Insights, Enablement & Performance

  • Define and track KPIs to measure success across audience segments—awareness, activation, retention, and revenue impact.
  • Collect insights from sales, customer success, and partners to refine positioning and optimize campaign performance.
  • Report performance regularly to executive stakeholders with clear attribution to PayPal World’s strategic goals.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years in product marketing, GTM strategy, or ecosystem marketing—preferably in fintech, commerce platforms, or payments.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-sided GTM programs that span consumers, merchants, and partners.
  • Deep expertise in crafting scalable narratives and integrated marketing across complex, matrixed environments.
  • Exceptional cross-functional leadership and executive communication skills.
  • Experience designing and launching joint GTM programs with external partners and platforms.
  • Proven ability to drive ecosystem cohesion—ensuring messaging and campaigns reinforce a singular platform identity.
  • Strategic thinker with operational chops and a bias toward execution.
