Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop data frameworks and enrichment processes in collaboration with internal teams and vendors
- Convert data insights into actionable business strategies and execute campaigns
- Optimize campaign processes through automation and refinement
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address business questions on marketing attribution, customer churn, and user behaviors
- Identify data opportunities and perform descriptive and predictive analytics
- Analyze customer data to provide actionable insights for marketing strategies.
- Develop alternative solutions to enhance marketing effectiveness.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure data alignment with business goals
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
1.1Market Data Monitoring:
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of market data monitoring across various categories in cross-border e-commerce
- Monitor mainstream cross-border e-commerce platforms growth rate, Top vertical growth rate.
New Business Data Exploration:
- Provide data mining support for emerging cross-border business verticals (such as AI, short dramas, etc.) based on the needs of the business team
- Collect and process multi-sources of heterogeneous data, cleanse and integrate data to identify high-potential merchants for sales team
Model Building and Evaluation:
- Participate in building predictive models and data analysis models for cross-border merchants
- Train, validate, and optimize the models, and evaluate their performance and accuracy to ensure their effective application in cross-border business scenarios
- Identify merchant opportunities and performdescriptive/predictiveanalytics as needed
- Merchant churn & retention analysis and evaluation
Daily Campaign Routine:
- Execute & deliver sales-oriented projects using SQL, Python, Notebook and Tableau
- Work with internal teams and 3rd party vendors to develop data framework and enrichment process
- Drive E2E campaign execution, process refinement and enhanced automation and optimization
2.1 Competencies
- Strong interest in cross-border business is a must. Highly curious and sensitive to the market trends and data of cross-border business, able to quickly understand the business background and requirements
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills, capable of extracting key information from complex data and solving practical problems.
- Strong learning ability and self-motivated, able to continuously learn new data analysis techniques and methods to adapt to rapidly changing business needs.
2.2 Skill Requirements
- Proficient in at least one data analysis tool, such as Python, R, SQL etc.
- Familiar with common statistical methods and data mining algorithms, such as regression analysis, clustering analysis, and classification algorithms.
2.3 Experience Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in B2B, lead generation or marketing analytics.
- 5+ years of recent SQL experience with a deep understanding of structure and unstructured databases
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with physical and relational data modelling. Expert knowledge of metadata management and related tools.
2.4 Educational Background
- A bachelor's degree or above, with a preference for majors in statistics, mathematics, computer science, data science, information technology or related fields
2.5 Language Requirement
- Fluent in both English and Chinese, both spoken and written is required as this role supports the China team.
