Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the HR & EX implementation of firmwide data management frameworks, procedures, processes and training in partnership with subject matter experts.
- Oversee Firmwide Data Risk metrics, Chief Data Office (CDO) operational metrics and technology data-related control procedures
- Facilitate evidence aggregation for HR & EX Data Management audits, regulatory exams or operational risk reviews
- Represent HR & EX CDAO in various data forums, committees and councils
- Deliver projects related to data governance such as the implementation and change management in support of a new laws/regulations, including but not limited to training of end-to-end data management requirements and processes
- Drive changes required to process, procedures and/or controls aligned to Firmwide Data Management & Data Privacy policies / standards.
- Maintenance of day-to-day project plans, milestones, risk/issues and status reports.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years’ experience in data management, business controls, data risk management or technology controls. Master’s degree preferred but not required
- Knowledge of control and risk management concepts with the ability to evaluate controls, create procedure and process flows in conjunction with business and control partners
- Data governance subject matter expertise required
- Data Privacy subject matter expertise required
- Experience implementing firmwide policies and standards
- Independent self-starter with the ability to handle multiple priorities and produce successful results in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment
- Experience coordinating across functional teams and other key stakeholders
- Strong relationship-building skills, demonstrated consultative approach and proven skill in influencing others.
