As a Vice President - Data Governance Lead in the Firmwide Privacy Office, you will support the design, development and implementation of firm’s data classification framework. You will work closely with key stakeholders to implement privacy strategies that align with our firm's goals. Your role will be instrumental in ensuring that our privacy practices meet global standards and support our data-driven initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of the firm's data classification framework, including glossaries and taxonomies.
• Ensure consistent data classification practices across all business functions.
• Oversee the documentation and communication of classification standards and guidelines.
• Conduct regular reviews and updates of the classification framework to align with regulatory changes and business needs.
• Provide expert guidance and support to teams on data classification matters.
• Develop and deliver training programs to promote understanding and adherence to classification standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate classification standards into data management processes.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in design and implementation, with a focus on Data governance.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing data classification frameworks in a large organization.
• Knowledge of global privacy laws, including GDPR and CCPA, and their application in a corporate setting.
• Ability to work independently and manage relationships across functions and regions.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Experience in data governance at a financial institution.
