Description
In this highly visible role, you will be responsible for SOC power simulation, SOC use case power analysis, and drive the future SOC power optimization. You will have the opportunity to integrate and come-up with new ideas, as well as work with a team of talented engineers.The main responsibility of this role is to drive the SOC power modeling and optimization for very power efficient products
Key Qualifications
  • Hands on experience with PTPX and Power Artist power analysis tools
  • Experience in SOC power simulation, modeling, and analysis flow
  • Experience in ASIC power estimation, analysis and optimization
  • Familiarity with script writing in python, Perl or TCL
  • Understanding of electrical properties of on-die PDN, power gating, package and system power delivery
  • Familiarity with power impact at architecture, logic design, and circuit levels
  • Familiarity with SOC design Flow and Methodology
  • Strong communication to collaborate with different groups
  • Familiarity of WiFi or BT Standards is a plus
Education & Experience
BS and 10+ years of relevant industry experience
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $161,700 and $284,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
