What you need to know about the role:

Your day to day:

  • Provide expert guidance to internal and external parties on payout processes, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards.

  • Analyze and solve operational business / process problems related to payouts, developing effective solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

  • Navigate ambiguous situations by clarifying objectives and providing insights to optimize payout operations.

  • Influence and collaborate informally with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement in payout processes.

  • Monitor and evaluate industry trends in payouts, offering insights to enhance our operational strategies and customer experiences

  • Serve as a resource for training and development, sharing knowledge of payout systems and operations with team members and stakeholders.

  • Serve as a resource for sellers to get deals from lead to live, ushering merchants through the onboarding flow with a focus on discovery and solutioning.

  • Document and maintain a record of common questions / challenges and establish a regular feedback loop with product.

What do you need to bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Proven experience in the payments industry with a focus on payout operations; operational background preferred.

  • Experience working with large enterprises.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a track record of effectively addressing complex operational challenges.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders informally.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and challenges.

  • Strong experience generating technical documentation

  • Expert in PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft suite
