As a Senior BI Analyst on our Finance BI team, you will partner with Corporate FP&A and Strategic Finance to deliver business intelligence reporting and support long-range financial planning. This role focuses on developing applications and managing data pipelines to enhance financial reporting and streamline forecasting processes. You will also own project roadmaps and collaborate with finance analysts on quarterly ad-hoc analyses. The ideal candidate is proficient in SQL, Python, and BI tools, with a strong intuition for data best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES :
  • Support Snowflake’s Corporate FP&A, G&A, and Strategic Finance teams in business intelligence reporting and forecasting.

  • Develop applications to streamline forecasting processes and provide stakeholders with actionable insights into data.

  • Build, maintain, and own data pipelines that power Finance Reporting, Analyses, and Forecasts.

  • Team with FP&A and other Finance teams on ad-hoc analyses and reporting needs during fiscal quarter close.

  • Create and execute project roadmaps for Corporate FP&A, ensuring alignment with Snowflake’s OKR’s.

  • Iterate and identify weaknesses in processes, data, and systems, to drive improvements.

  • Think creatively to find optimal solutions to our complex, often unstructured problems.

REQUIRED SKILLS :
  • 4-5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or other data-focused roles.

  • Advanced SQL expertise, including analyzing data, standardizing queries, and building large-scale relational datasets.

  • Proficiency in Python and application development, with an emphasis on scalability and user experience.

  • Experience creating, deploying, and managing enterprise-level reports using BI tools such as Streamlit, Tableau, Looker, or similar technologies.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present to senior executives and effectively explain design decisions.

  • Familiarity with Finance principles, particularly FP&A concepts and processes.

PREFERRED SKILLS :
  • Past experience working in a finance or accounting role, or directly supporting analysis and reporting for finance stakeholders.

  • Prior experience in Financial Forecasting and analysis of Financial Statements.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $134,000 - $180,100.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.
