The Business Analytics Manager provides full leadership and supervisory responsibility. Provides operational/service leadership and direction to team(s). Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge through provision of value-added perspectives or advisory services. May contribute to the development of new techniques, models and plans within area of expertise. Excellent communication and diplomacy skills are required. Generally has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness of end results and shared responsibility for planning and budgets. Work affects an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. Full supervisory responsibility, ensuring motivation and development of team through professional leadership to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations as well as direction of daily tasks and responsibilities.Responsibilities:

  • Translate data into consumer or customer behavioral insights to drive targeting and segmentation strategies, and communicate clearly and effectively to business partners and senior leaders all findings
  • Ensures analytics drive appropriate marketing investment decisions and marketing plan activities
  • Analyzes performance of marketing programs and business initiatives
  • Ensures analysis drives appropriate marketing investment decisions and marketing plan activities
  • Forecasting includes creation of key indicator curves and indices
  • Work closely with internal and external business partners in building, implementing, tracking and improving decision strategies
  • Makes and implements recommendations through the use of data analysis and segmentation methodologies
  • Integrates key profitability drivers and measures of success make pricing offer recommendations and performs adhoc analytical requests
  • Manages staff. Evaluates subordinates' performance and makes decisions regarding staffing, pay increases, promotions, terminations, etc.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience
  • Advanced analytical and business strategy skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to present to business partners and/or leaders to gain approvals
  • Project and process management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skill
  • Experience with a prior focus in financial services analytics
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Self-starter who also has a demonstrated ability to work successfully in team environment and drive


Education:

  • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience

Licenciatura en informática, física, matemático, actuario, Ciencias de la Computación, Análisis de Datos, Sistemas de Información.

Experiencia laboral : Product Owner, como sistemas de CRM, Aplicativos tecnológicos 2+, experiencia en manejo de grande bases de datos, analisis de datos, conocimiento de metodologías agiles.

Technical Skills / Knowledge: Lenguajes de programación: SQL, SAS, python, CRM.

Ingles avanzado.

• Mínimo 3 años de experiencia en la industria bancaria.

• Mínimo cinco años de experiencia trabajando en uno o más de los siguientes campos: tecnología de la información, servicios financieros, servicios de productos, ciencias de la computación, sistemas de información computacional o un campo relacionado. (Requerido).

• Conocimiento avanzado de conceptos, prácticas, estándares y procesos de desarrollo de productos CRM (Salesforce). (Requerido).

• Mentalidad analítica, con experiencia en toma de decisiones basada en datos y medición del desempeño. (Requerido).

• Habilidades avanzadas para resolver problemas; Capacidad para identificar problemas de raíz y soluciones de alcance basadas en el conocimiento de los recursos, los cronogramas, la visión y la estrategia. Busca información de diversas fuentes para fundamentar soluciones.

• Habilidades organizativas avanzadas, capacidad para equilibrar prioridades y entregar proyectos simultáneos a varias partes interesadas. Capacidad para trabajar en un entorno basado en proyectos utilizando prácticas de gestión de proyectos. (Requerido).

• Historial comprobado de entrega exitosa de productos tecnológicos e implementaciones de soluciones que satisfacen las necesidades de los usuarios y generan valor. (Requerido)

• La formación tecnológica y la experiencia en canales de banca electrónica serán un gran activo.

• Piensa creativamente e introduce innovaciones como la incorporación de nuevas tecnologías o procesos.
